Champions Poker joins the league

It's a new day and a new dawn for Redtooth Poker today, with the UK's biggest pub poker league getting even bigger with the amalgamation of the Champions Poker league into the fold.

With the first 13-week season of 2019 about to shuffle up and deal from tonight, more pubs than ever will be welcoming poker players to the tables for a fun-filled journey that could take them to Vegas for a week-long stay at the Orleans Hotel and Casino.

Currently the UK’s top pub poker league boasting more than 1,000 venues around England, Scotland and Wales, Redtooth Poker has been operating since 2007 and is about to start it's 13th year.

In 2012 the league revolutionised pub poker in the UK by introducing Vegas 100, a concept taking the league's top 100 poker players, found via regional and national qualifiers, to the poker capital of the world for the Vegas 100 experience.

The journey starts in the local pub where each season four players qualify from the venue for quarterly regional finals, with pub winners receiving a glass trophy and certificate at the regional event.

There are 72 regional finals nationwide each year, where the winner qualifies for the Vegas 100 trip with other top players qualifying for the UK national finals where they will have a further chance to win a Vegas package.

Since the introduction of the 2005 Gambling Act, which came into effect in 2007, card players in pubs are able to play for small stakes or prizes so the route to Vegas is an affordable option for poker enthusiasts eager to achieve their dream trip to the gambling capital of the world.

The first week of action in the new season gets underway tonight, so check out a local near you... your route to Vegas begins now!
