Taste of great ale in Glasgow

The Briggait

Chance to net some nifty ale

Nothing like an old fish market to get a bloke in the mood for a beer or two... so the ale should really be flowing at Glasgow Real Ale Festival (GRAF) next weekend.

Organised and run by the Glasgow and West of Scotland branch of CAMRA, the Glasgow Real Ale Festival takes place at the Briggait, the historic site of Glasgow’s old fish market.

The festival will see more than100 beers from breweries in Scotland and the rest of the UK, running the gamut of styles from pale hoppy ales through to darker stouts and porters. Whatever your taste, there will be a real ale for everyone at GRAF, as well as ciders and a 'foreign' bar.

Glasgow Real Ale Festival runs from 3.30pm on Thursday 22 June through to last orders on Saturday 24 June with £4 admission for CAMRA members and £6 for non-members. A Glasgow Real Ale Festival beer glass is included in the admission price.
