Lions, sevens and 23 great ales

Ormskirk Beer Festival

Ormskirk festival ticks all the boxes

Beer... tick. Gin... tick. Sport... tick. Live music... tick. Summer fun... tick. Seems the Ormskirk Beer Festival ticks all the right boxes for a fabulous weekend of great summer entertainment for all the family.

Taking place at Ormskirk Rugby Club in Green Lane on 23-24 June, the festival will feature 23 great ales, lagers, craft gins, home-cooked food, big-screen sport on TV, a rugby sevens tournament, three live bands and heaps of fun-filled activities for the kids.

The festival opens from 5.30pm-11pm on Friday and from 8am-1am on Saturday.

As well as a great selection of beers chosen via a website survey, plus special craft gins and carnival games and bouncy castle for the children, the gates will open early on Saturday for the Lions opening Test against New Zealand in the clubhouse, which will be followed by a rugby sevens tournament starting at 12.30pm.
