A cappella gets vocal in the capital

Celebrating its 10th Anniversary, the London A Cappella Festival resonates around the capital from 23-26 January 2019.

Bringing an epic line-up of international headliners and vocal super-groups to the city, this year’s programme features internationally acclaimed composer and singer Laura Mvula with Europe’s finest female vocal quintet Black Voices; American pop-jazz vocal sensations M-Pact, legendary Cuban superstars Vocal Sampling; three of the UK’s best University a cappella groups... The Techtonics, The Rolling Tones and The Bristol Suspensions; plus award-winning barbershop choruses The Cottontown Chorus and London City Singers.

Dedicated to the many forms of a cappella, London A Cappella is a unique international hub of vocal activity. Presenting world-class flagship projects, the festival prides itself on drawing the world’s finest a cappella performers to London and providing performance and learning platforms for singers of all ages and abilities.

Curated by The Swingles and Ikon Arts Management, the festival welcomes the top vocal talent of the a cappella world in a star-studded line-up of international headliners.

The festival has enjoyed unprecedented success since its inception in 2009, running annually with sell-out performances, talks, showcases and workshops. With more than 4,500 visitors each year, the festival is now a staple in the a cappella calendar and has grown to become one of the country’s most-loved and eagerly awaited celebrations of vocal talent.
