Charity raceday in support of Macmillan

Macmillan Charity Raceday

The biggest charity race meeting in Britain

The biggest single fundraising event in Macmillan's calendar takes place at York Racecourse on Saturday, 17 June, as part of the racecourse's two-day June meeting.

The Macmillan Charity Raceday is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a day at the races, while also supporting those affected by cancer, with a percentage of every entrance ticket on Saturday going to Macmillan.

Over the meeting, which also sees racing on Friday, 16 June, there will be lots of opportunities to support Macmillan including taking part in a fabulous raceday raffle where prizes in the past have included a brand new television, a state of the art sound system, a holiday and a case of champagne.

The raceday is the biggest charity meeting in Britain and simply by attending visitors are helping to raise money for a very worthy cause, while also being able to watch the most valuable sprint handicap for three-year-old horses in Europe.

For more information visit the York Racecourse website, where you can also take part in the online raceday auction.
