Heritage Day at Bangor

Bangor Heritage Day

Racecourse ideal venue for entertaining

With some of Britain’s top jockeys and trainers in attendance, 2019 got off to a racing start at Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse when the first meeting of the year took place on 8 January, with almost 1,300 guests enjoying an exciting six-race card on a crisp afternoon in North Wales.

This year there are 13 more meetings scheduled for the North Wales track, with the next meeting getting underway on Friday, 8 February, when it's Heritage Day.

There are two enclosures to choose from at the course with prices starting from £7 for adult racegoers in advance of raceday; with children aged 17 and under and accompanied by a responsible adult admitted free of charge. Tickets for the paddock enclosure are priced at £17.

Set in picturesque surroundings with breathtaking views of the Welsh countryside, the facilities at Bangor also provide an ideal venue for weddings, conferences, dinner events or team-building experiences... able to accommodate anything from 200 to 600 people.
