Dartmouth event in aid of charity

Dartmouth Charity Beer Festival

Festival has Rotary Club on the hop

With more than 20 real ales and ciders from Devon breweries, plus live entertainment and good food, Dartmouth Charity Beer Festival is a fun and informative event that provides an opportunity to meet local brewers and talk about beer making, whilst also raising money for two worthy causes.

Organised by Dartmouth Rotary Club, the festival takes place from 15-16 February 2019 at The Flavel arts centre, with proceeds split equally between the venue and Rowcroft Hospice, which provides specialist palliative care to people with progressive, life-limiting illnesses across South Devon.

Beers will cover a range of light hoppy brews, regular session beers, porters and ciders with some specials for the occasion, with tickets priced at £10 and including a souvenir glass, programme, tasting notes and beer tokens.

There'll also be a selection of local ciders on offer, plus wines from Michael Sutton’s Cellar and fizz and prosecco provided by The Fizz Boat.

Locally produced food will be served by Radius 7, including a vegan menu during all sessions of the festival. Local musicians will perform throughout the event, with the Saturday night sounds coming from the Loose Cannons.
