A nation gets quizzical
Next month pubs across Britain will play host to the World's Biggest Pub Quiz.
Now in it's fourth year, the PubAid-organised event will see the nation getting quizzical for some great causes including Prostate Cancer UK and many other local charities.
In 2018 more than 1,500 venues took part, raising £190,000 in the process, with more than £405,000 raised since the event began in 2016.
Taking place from 3-7 March 2019, the event's official charity is Prostate Cancer but pubs that sign up are free to support any cause they choose, with 1,269 venues already participating.
There is no charge to take part and PubAid supplies the quizzes and promotional material. The quiz runs from Sunday to Thursday with venues choosing the night that best suits them.
