With events in London, Edinburgh and Bristol, beer festival-organisers We Are Beer have already established themselves on the UK circuit... but now they're adding a fourth event in Birmingham in July.

Since opening the doors to their first London Craft Beer Festival in 2013, the company has been celebrating the creativity, diversity and dynamism of modern brewing culture and launched the Bristol Craft Beer Festival in 2016 and the Edinburgh Craft Beer Festival a year later.

Now for 2019 comes Beer Central, a new festival for the Midlands. Unlike other festivals in the area, Beer Central is an ‘all-in’ festival... with all the beer included in the ticket price, with no worrying about tokens; no hassle; quicker queues; and more opportunities to find a new favourite beer.

Beer Central takes place in Digbeth this July, but the exact dates are being kept under wraps until the ticket launch on 26 February.

However, dates for London, Bristol and Edinburgh have been announced with the organisers' biggest line-up of breweries to date floating into Tobacco Dock from 9-11 August for the seventh London Craft Beer Festival.

Featuring more than 80 breweries from the UK and around the world, there will also be close to 500 beers on tap across the weekend.

The festival will also feature a New York showcase that will see Evil Twin, Kings County Brewers Collective and Interboro manning the taps, while new European breweries will include Brasserie Popihn from central France and Portugal's Cerveja Letra.

Flying the flag for the burgeoning UK craft beer scene will be Cloudwater and Verdant, with festival debuts for Kings Cross-based Two Tribes and Bohem, a Czech lager brewery from Tottenham.

At each session, ticket holders will get the chance to taste the festival’s largest choice of beers to date, enjoying unlimited 100ml pours, many of which will be made exclusively for the festival.

Bristol Craft Beer Festival will return to Lloyd’s Amphitheatre for its fourth year from 8-9 June, with local brewers such as Wiper & True, Wild Beer and Left Handed Giant in attendance. North of the border, Edinburgh Craft Beer Festival returns to the iconic Factory Quarter, in Leith, from 24-25 May.

Following its successful launch last year, Raise The Bar also returns for another year. A nationwide competition, judged by a panel of industry pros, it offers the best new breweries the opportunity to showcase their beers at the festivals, with budding breweries up to two years old invited to enter.
