Exciting climax to Cardiff Blues season

Cardiff Blues Ladies Day

Special Ladies Day package for clash with Southern Kings

The Cardiff Blues home clash against South African outfit Southern Kings could prove to be a key fixture in the side's battle to qualify for the end-of-season Pro 14 play-offs and provides the ideal time for supporters to enjoy the climax to the 2019 season, with the fixture on 2 March being officially designated as Ladies Day.

The club is inviting supporters to get into the mood for the important clash at the Arms Park by offering a special match package that includes two hours of unlimited Prosecco, canapes, live music, gift bags, prizes and an opportunity to meet some of the players before the game.

Priced at £45, or £30 for season members, supporters can soak up the pre-match atmosphere in the exclusive Heineken marquee, enjoy live music and mingle with players before settling down to watch the crucial encounter against the South African outfit that kicks off at 7.35pm on the Friday evening. There will also be special gift bags for all guests and prizes for the best-dressed supporters.

The countdown to the end-of-season play-offs continues tonight with the visit of Glasgow Warriors to the Arms Park, kick-off 7.35pm, with the Blues currently fifth in Conference A, but only a couple of points behind the Ospreys and Connacht with seven games remaining.

After tonight's crucial test against the crack Scottish opponents, currently challenging Munster for top spot in Conference A, the Blues only have two further home games after the visit of the Southern Kings, with the Scarlets at the Arms Park on 22 March, followed by the Judgment Day showdown against the Ospreys at the Principality Stadium on 27 April.

The Blues' end-of-season run-in also includes visits to Edinburgh (23 February), Munster (5 April) and Connacht (13 April).

So with games to come against all the sides above them in the Pro 14 table, plus the Southern Kings, Scarlets and Edinburgh from Conference B, it promises to be an exciting climax to the season for the Blues... beginning with Glasgow's visit to the Arms Park tonight.
