Home from Home for DJs

Homefest 2017

Festival of house and techno

The festival spirit is certainly at "home" in Somerset this weekend with not one but two "home" spun festivals taking place in the county.

But not to be mistaken with the three-day "Home Farm Charity Music Festival" in Chilthorne Domer, now celebrating its 12th anniversary, the Home Festival at Fernhill Farm in Compton Martin is a house and techno showcase with a warehouse vibe centred in a beautiful rural setting.

Expect underground house and techno across two stages - the main Barn stage and the Saloon - both of which will have a wide array of amazing DJs.

It is the very first Homefest and the idea is to bring something "amazing" to the south-west that is also "eco-friendly"... so all the food and drink is sourced locally from Fernhill Farm and nearby suppliers such as Thatchers Cider and Cheddar Ale.

Not only is it a great venue but the festival also boasts a stellar lineup of some of the most exciting names in house and techno music such as Friday's headliners Spektre, Anti-Slam & W.E.A.P.O.N. plus Phutek, and Medhat & Dekkstrum.

On Saturday the main attractions are Kydus, Will Clarke, Tommy Vercetti, Ben Remember and BAKKOS.

The supporting lineup includes acts such as Aqcora, Antony Davies, Arran Wells, Darren C, Fordy, GEMINUS, Ian Redman, JaX, Joe Burton, Keith Newman, Lloyd Kelsall, Martyn Stillman, Nico Luss, Ollie Higgs, Pete Gizauskas, Pioneer Peacey, Rick Dyno, Robert Van Ryn, Simon Lloyd, Sly Logic, Techník, Topof and Xango.
