Fleece tuning up for feast of ska and punk

It's about to get crazy at The Fleece in Bristol, which is tuning up for Skankfest2017 this weekend.

In case you hadn't guessed it, Skankfest is a celebration of all things ska and punk, with 23 bands set to rock the The Fleece on Saturday and Sunday from 1pm.

Combined two-day tickets can be bought for £18, with advance Saturday-only entry £12.50 and £10 on Sunday.

Headlining on Saturday is King Prawn, while other performers include Popes Of Chillitown (8.15pm), Imprints (7.30pm), Jake & The Jellyfish (6.45pm), The Hostiles (6pm), Skaciety (5.15pm), Karl Phillips (4.30pm), Millie Manders (3.45pm), Ill Gotten Gains (3pm), Evil Turkeys (2.15pm) and 6 Foot 7 (1.30pm).

On Sunday Spunge bring down the curtain from 10pm after performances by Mad Apple Circus (9pm), Counting Coins (8.15pm), King Tuts Revenge (7.30pm), Crinkle Cuts (6.45pm), The Stiff Joints (6pm), Convicts (5.15pm), The Sneak Eazies (4.30pm), Lead Shot Hazard (3.45pm), The Houdinis (3pm) and Easydread (2.15pm).
