Swansea’s brand of air necessities

Wales National Airshow

Displays and attractions add to fun-filled weekend

Mark the dates in your diaries, the Wales National Airshow returns to Swansea Bay from 6-7 July this year... with breathtaking aerobatic displays, state-of-the-art military aircraft and vintage planes soaring above the seafront.

In 2018 the airshow had another brilliant year with hundreds of thousands of people descending on the city to enjoy the country’s biggest free show, featuring two days of aerial action from the Red Arrows, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and fighter planes from World War I.

Across the weekend, the huge crowds enjoyed a range of shows on the ground as well as in the air. With flight simulators, plus armed forces vehicles and displays, there’s loads to see and do, including fitness challenges and drum corps demonstrations.

There'll also be a fun fair with rides and amusements throughout the airshow weekend, along with live music and entertainment.
