Bob Marley tribute act the Trenchtown Experience are the special guests for one of the social occasions of the year at Chepstow Racecourse, when a day of great racing will be followed by a Caribbean Race Night party of red-hot reggae on Friday, 28 July.

Trenchtown Experience will be on stage for an hour and a quarter of Marley classics after the racing concludes at 8.45pm.

The first race of the flat meeting is off at 5.30pm, with admission just £22 in advance for a grandstand and paddock package which also includes a drink.

Premier tickets are available at £24 in advance and there's also a “One Love Package” for £29, which includes grandstand and paddock entry, jerk chicken with rice and peas, drink and a race night programme.

The Caribbean Race Night is part of the racecourse's Hooves and Grooves promotions, which will also see Killer Queen perform after the flat meeting on 17 August.

On Ladies Evening, which takes place on 14 July there'll be entertainment from Rod Stewart tribute act Paul Metcalfe and his band.

There will be cash prize of £1,000 for the best-dressed lady as well as prizes for all ladies who reach the top 10. It will also be the second leg of the Silks Series for female jockeys, with charity partner Cancer Research UK.
