Bognor ready to rock

Rockaway Beach Festival

Rockaway Beach Festival

It's not long into the new year before the festivals kick-off again and next weekend there's the Rockaway Beach Festival to look forward to at the Butlin's resort in Bognor Regis, West Sussex.

Now in its fourth installment the festival takes place from 11-13 January 2019 and features Gary Numan, Maximo Park, Barry Adamson, Laetitia Sadler Source Ensemble, Echo & The Bunnymen, Goat Girl, Desert Mountain Tribe, The Spook School, Algiers and DJ sets from Terry Hall and Steve Lamacq.

Further down the bill are acts such as Benin City, Chupa Cabra, Jemma Freeman and The Cosmic Something, John J Presley, Lorelle Meets The Obsolete, Madonnatron, Menace Beach, Spare Snare, Squid, The Filthy Tongues, The Luka State, Winter Gardens and Yassassin.

It's a formidable line-up and promises to be a great weekend, with ample accommodation at the Butlin's site.

Everyone attending Rockaway Beach can opt to stay either in hotels or the private holiday chalets that surround the indoor stages of the resort and all accommodation is included in the ticket price, although it is available on a first-come, first-served basis with those located closest to the arenas and the beach made available first.

Tickets are priced from £79 per-person for the weekend depending on the accommodation booked.
